QR business card: your contact saved in one scan

Instead of typing your number by hand, people scan the code and the phone offers to save the contact with your name, phone, email, company and website. The data is stored inside the code itself (vCard format), so it works without internet and without any link.

Step by step

1. On the «Create» tab choose «Contact».
2. Fill in «First name», «Last name», «Phone» and «Email». Write the phone number with the country code, starting with +.
3. Open «Company · Address» to add «Company», «Job title», «Website» and the address. Leave empty whatever you don't want to share.
4. Style the code in «Design»: a template, colors, a «Card» frame with «SCAN ME», or your logo (Pro).
5. Tap «Save image» or «Share». Kodla test-scans the code before saving.
6. Put it on the back of your business card, a badge, a price list or your email signature.

Good to know

• Fill in only what you really need. The more fields, the denser the code, and the larger it has to be printed.
• The contact lives inside the code. If your number changes, make a new code and reprint it.
• The iPhone camera and most Android phones offer to add the contact right after scanning. In Kodla, open the result and tap «Add to contacts».
• On a standard business card (about 9 × 5 cm), make the code at least 2.5 × 2.5 cm and check a test print before ordering a batch.
