On your photo, with your logo and colors?
Kodla for Android puts the code on your own photo, adds templates, colors and frames, and test-scans it before you save. Logo, gradients, SVG and PDF come with Kodla Pro.
Get it on Google PlayHow to make a QR code
- Choose what the code should open: “Link”, “Text” or “Wi-Fi”.
- Type the link, the text, or the network name and password. The preview updates as you type.
- Tap “Download PNG” and scan the picture with your phone camera before you print it.
Tips for a code that scans
- Print it at least 2 × 2 cm. If people scan it from a distance, make it bigger.
- Keep the white border around the code: phone cameras need it to find the code.
- A short link makes a simpler code that scans faster.
- A Wi-Fi code stores the password as plain text. Anyone who scans it can see it.

Questions
Is this QR code generator free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no daily limit and no watermark. The codes are static: the link or text is stored in the code itself, so it does not expire and keeps working as long as your link does.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is drawn by a script on this page, right in your browser. The link, text or Wi-Fi password is not uploaded or saved, and the site has no analytics trackers.
How do I make a QR code for Wi-Fi?
Choose “Wi-Fi”, type the “Network name” and the password, and pick the security type: WPA/WPA2 fits most home routers. If the network does not show its name, tick “Hidden network”. Guests scan the code with the phone camera and join without typing the password.
Can I add a logo or put the code on a photo?
Not on this page: here you get a plain black-and-white code. The Kodla app for Android puts the code on your own photo and adds colors and frames. Adding a logo needs Kodla Pro.
What size should a printed QR code be?
About 2 × 2 cm is a sensible minimum for menus, cards and flyers. For posters scanned from a few meters away, make it larger. The 1024 px PNG is enough for a sharp print about 8 cm wide.
